Bill Pell is a lifelong resident of the East End and a fourth generation Baymen. A commercial vessel captain and past owner and operator of a commercial and sport fishing dock in Hampton Bays for 20 years, Pell also founded the Southampton Oyster Company — a local oyster farming enterprise. A lieutenant in the Southampton Fire Department, member of the Southampton Rotary, Peconic Estuary Citizen’s Committee and a Peconic Land Trust Land Steward, Pell resides in Southampton with his wife, Sarah Fitzsimmons, and their two children Aimee and Hannah.
